This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.
A native of Europe where it prefers light to medium, well-drained soils in a sunny position. It is drought and frost tolerant.
A perennial plant growing to 0.6 metres with a spread of 0.5 metres; the stem is erect and angular; the leaves are oblong silvery blue foliage with white woolly undersides. The flowers are a vibrant violet-blue occurring globular heads all summer long.
Besides providing a very striking display in the garden, the blooms can be cut for the vase or dried. They hold their colour extremely well in the drying process and are very useful in dried arrangements.
Offered is a packet containing 20 seeds and grow notes.
