Flindersia australis – Australian Teak or Crows Ash seed x10

Native to the rainforest of New South Wales and Queensland, this hardy tree grows to 25 metres in cultivation. It has dense, compound glossy leaves of 5 – 9 leaflets. It is a very good garden shade tree and is used in streetscapes often. The fruit of Crows Ash is a large woody capsule that splits five ways creating a star which is often used in dried flower arrangements and other crafts.
