This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.
The Nutrisun cultivar sunflower has been bred as a seed oil production plant. However, the seed can be eaten as a snack food or grown as a garden flower or cut flower. As a cut flower, it has a very long vase life.
A tall plant of even growth and a single flower, it makes a delightful display if mass planted.
Cultivation in full sun in prepared beds with an average water requirement is very easy.
Offered is a packet of 100 grams 1000+ seeds with cultivation notes.
All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
